Pensioner denounced to the police a neighbor from Ukraine who does not support the special operation

Moreover, she simply overheard the opinion of a woman. Back in July, 71-year-old Vera Pavlovna heardhow two neighbors were arguing with each other about the special operation. Moreover, a woman named Elena spoke out against the actions of Russia and expressed confidence in the imminent victory of Ukraine.

Then the pensioner did not attach much importance to this dialogue, but later she learned from other residents that Elena was a native of the Odessa region. In addition, Vera Pavlovna heard on TV that it is necessary to “be vigilant” because the Ukrainians “do not know what” in their heads. After weighing all the pros and cons, she decided to go to the police and tell the story of a month ago.

Generally speaking, the last few months are really creating feelingthat the number of denunciations in the city has increased greatly – even husbands are already hand over the police of their wives for the “wrong” position. However, this theory has yet to be confirmed. As anthropologist Alexandra Arkhipova noted in an interview with The Village (the publication’s website was blocked by Roskomnadzor on the territory of the Russian Federation), it is impossible to collect statistics on this issue: “It seems that the number of denunciations is increasing, but perhaps this is due to the fact that more attention is now being paid to denunciations . We do not know how many denunciations there were before. In addition, it is impossible to build accurate statistics on denunciations; I tried many times. The protocols do not always indicate who sent the complaint, and the protocols themselves are not always drawn up: it happens that a person was detained and then released.”
